If you are a person with a disability, there are numerous laws protecting you from discrimination. Unfortunately, most people with disabilities are not fully aware of their rights. Many people with disabilities are so accustomed to discrimination that they are not even aware of it. You have rights to accessible housing, barrier free shopping, restaurants, and entertainment facilities just to name a few. Too often, you are denied these rights.
 

Bear in mind, every rule has its exceptions. There are cases where you may feel that your rights have been violated, but in reality, the current laws do not offer you protection.
